Manny Brown is Senior Vice President Head of Mortgage Banking of Cohen Financial – Head of Production Pillar Division. He utilizes his extensive general management abilities to build on Cohen Financial’s industry leading capital markets origination, operational execution, and customer service strengths. He is responsible for the leadership of the Capital Markets business of Cohen Financial and their parent company Pillar. His direct responsibilities include management of Capital Markets production and support services teams. He also oversees the marketing and positioning of the platform and its multiple businesses. His primary goal is to facilitate the delivery of the platform products and services to our valued clients at the highest level of performance standards.
Joined Cohen Financial in April, 2007
Prior to joining Cohen Financial, Mr. Brown served as Chief Executive Officer, President, and Partner of NG Acquisitions, LLC, a company responsible for the acquisition and turnaround of Natural Golf in 2005. Prior to Natural Golf, Mr. Brown served as Executive Vice President of Operations for Whitehall Jewelers, Inc. (NYSE:JWL) for seven years. While there, he was a key member of the executive team responsible for sales, marketing, and operations during a period of rapid revenue, market share, and profit growth. Prior to this, he served as Executive Vice President at industry leading Apria Healthcare Group (NYSE:AHG) for 12 years. He was part of the Executive Management Team and was responsible for leading the firm’s fastest growing and most profitable businesses. Prior to this, he spent five years in sales and marketing management positions with FMC Corporation (NYSE:FMC).
